Carrie (1976)

 "He's going to laugh at you, they're all going to laugh at you!" I usually don't watch much horror films but this was one of the best horror experiences I've got in recent times.  Carrie is a 1976 American horror thriller film directed by Brian De Palma from a screenplay written by Lawrence D. Cohen, adapted from Stephen King's novel of the same name. Carrie was the first Stephen King novel to be published and the first to be adapted into a feature film. The film tells us about the story of Carrie white, a 17 year old teenager who is being dominated by her religious fanatic mother and being constantly bullied and mocked by her highschool peers. Carrie discovers that she possesses telekinetic powers and puts her powers to use when she is humiliated.  The film is Captivating and engaging from the very beginning to the end.
